We live the country just north of Springfield, MO. We try to live as close to the earth as we can, growing our garden every year, raising as much of the food that we consume as we can. Part of that is trying to use products that are healthy and beneficial to both us and the environment. The cleaning products that we use are natural, vinegar and water for example. The story of Windwood Farm Goat Milk Soap starts back in 1990 with the purchase of our first goat and the need to do something with all the milk. We then started making soap and cheese and more soap. Our first soaps were very basic and we began adjusting our recipes to impart particular qualities to the soap. Many recipes and years later we have what we think is the best soap we have ever produced or used. Wayne and I started selling our soaps at the Farmers Market here in Springfield, Mo. and the rest, as they say, is history. Since starting with the Farmers Market of the Ozarks in 2011, we have continued to grow and are are now in 160+ stores in 6 states and have many satisfied customers. We have received testimonials from customers who state that our soap is the best soap they have ever used and has helped them with reducing, eczema, acne, psoriasis and relieving dry chapped skin. Our son Mike was working with us for a few years but has moved to be with the love of his life in Tucson, AZ. We love what we do, we love that making soap gives us an avenue to help people with skin issues. We feel blessed to be here making soap every day.
